iPhones from the 5th generation onwards have the small Lightning connector specially developed for Apple. This was developed for the thinner design of Apple devices and replaces the old iPhone connector. If you want to buy a suitable iPhone charging cable for your new device, you need a Lightning connector to charge it or transfer data. It is possible to convert a charging cable with a Micro-USB connector to Lightning using our corresponding adapter.
Depending on the socket on the device you want to connect to your iPhone, you need a USB-A or USB-C plug at the other end of the cable.
