Innovative features

The 8K HDMI^TM active optical cable from Hama supports numerous additional functions. Thanks to CEC, compatible electronic devices can be easily connected using HDMI^TM and controlled centrally. Therefore you need, at best, only one remote control for your TV, SAT receiver, sound system and console.

Through Dynamic HDR, it is possible to display each image at its ideal values for depth, sharpness, brightness, contrast and wider colour gamuts – this guarantees an excellent display at all times.

With eARC, various current audio formats – including Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD – can be played losslessly without compression. You save yourself an additional audio cable in your home electronics and at the same time obtain excellent sound quality from your speakers.

Furthermore, you set up a network connection at up to 100 Mbit/s using the HEC channel. This allows you to connect compatible devices from your home electronics directly via the HDMI^TM cable to the Internet, and save yourself extra Ethernet cabling.

Robust design

In matters of design, the Hama 8K HDMI^TM cable is likewise impressive and meets high standards. The connectors are gold-plated and the metal plug is fully shielded, which guarantees a reliable signal transmission.

Please be aware that you should never bend optical cables, despite their flexibility. The 8K HDMI^TM cable from Hama has optimised kink protection – this prevents cable breakage.

The warranty we provide is in addition to the statutory rights to a warranty free of charge, for which any claim must be directed to the seller of your product.
Likewise, any statutory rights you have to a warranty free of charge from us remain unaffected by this warranty promise.
