USB-C, the new, compact format for connections and plugs, is now standard for all Samsung charging sockets and enables mobile devices to have an ever slimmer design. Advantage: With the symmetrical connection, it doesn’t matter which way up you insert the plug. USB-C supports fast charging with the Quick Charge and Power Delivery technologies.
USB-C replaces the Micro-USB connector that older models up to the Samsung Galaxy 7 still have. We offer an adapter that allows a new Samsung to be charged with your old Micro-USB charging cable.

At the other end of the Samsung charging cable is either a USB-A or USB-C plug – depending on the connection on the device you want to connect (charger, PC).
USB-A connection type
The large, angular USB-A connection is still standard for charging or data transfer on many PCs and chargers. You will need a USB-C-to-USB-A charging cable for this.
USB-C connection type
If your Samsung mobile phone and your charger support fast charging e.g. with Power Delivery, you will achieve the maximum charging speed with a USB-C-to-USB-C fast-charging cable.
