How to apply a screen protector

Apply screen protector foil in 7 steps

• Step 1: Check the ideal position

  Before you apply the screen protector foil, first place it against the display to test it. Pay attention to the spacing around the edges, any cut-outs for the front camera unit and other special features of your mobile phone.

  
• Step 2: Clean the display thoroughly

  Now clean the display thoroughly and remove the last dust particles with the adhesive sticker. This is best done in as dust-free an environment as possible so that you can apply the screen protector foil without any dust. The bathroom is a good choice for this if the ambient humidity is still high after showering.

  
• Step 3: Remove the adhesive strip from the protector film

  Now remove the adhesive strip on the mobile phone protection foil to apply it. All of the preparations are now complete and you can apply the protector film to the mobile phone.

  
• Step 4: Press down on the foil and peel it off evenly

  Position the screen protector foil carefully and press it onto the display. To do this, use a credit card or a stable ruler and work from the middle of the display towards the edge so that you really apply the screen protector foil bubble-free.

  
• Step 5: Press the foil down around the edges

  Now turn your attention to the edges. Also press down on the foil there to apply the screen protector foil correctly.

  
• Step 6: Peel off the upper backing film and remove the adapter

  Then peel off the upper backing film. This protected the screen protector foil while you applied it.

  
• Step 7: Finally press down on the foil and clean

  You have now applied the mobile phone screen protector to the display. To finish, press down on it once more and clean it after mounting. Done!
